Publication Opportunity. To enhance the scientific quality of
this event, the World Congress on ITS Organizing Committee has
entered into an agreement with the editors of three noted ITS
journals which will offer authors of scientific papers the
possibility of international peer-reviewed publication of their
work. Each journal will publish a special World Congress issue
focusing on different areas of ITS.
Journal of Intelligent Transportation Systems (Prof. Asad J.
Khattak, Editor-in-Chief) will focus on civil engineering aspects
of intelligent transport systems, especially on issues related to
intelligent infrastructure. IEEE Transactions on Intelligent
Transportation Systems (Prof. Alberto Broggi, Editor-in-Chief) will
focus on electrical engineering aspects of intelligent transport
systems, especially on issues related to intelligent vehicles and
fleet management. IET Intelligent Transport Systems (Dr. Alan
Stevens, Editor-in-Chief) will focus on all aspects of cooperation
between vehicles and infrastructure.
Following the World Congress on ITS, authors of particularly
notable papers will be contacted by one of the journals and invited
to update and enhance their papers for inclusion in these special
editions.
