Elsa SupiotEthics Officer

Elsa Supiot is a professor of private law at the University of Angers who has been seconded to the CNRS at the Sorbonne Institute for Legal and Philosophical Sciences (UMR8103). She succeeds Joël Moret-Bailly who had held the post since September 2018. 

In her role as Ethics Officer, CNRS staff members and authorities can contact her about any ethical issue with all exchanges are covered by professional secrecy. As the Whistleblower, she guarantees the confidentiality of the identities of those making reports and everyone involved therein.

Elsa Supiot will continue to work on training initiatives for CNRS staff in consultation with the new Scientific Integrity Officer, Claudine Pique.

Elsa Supiot was appointed as the Ethics Officer and Whistleblower at the CNRS with effect from 1st September 2024.
