The 'Propsy' (psychiatric pathologies) exploratory PEPR
Psychiatric pathologies are chronic conditions that start early in life and are a component of five of the top ten causes of disability. As well as their psychosocial impact, such psychiatric disorders are thought to reduce life expectancy by 15 to 20 years because of somatic comorbidities and suicides.
The 'Propsy' programme focuses on four of the most disabling disorders namely bipolarity, major depressive disorders, schizophrenia and autism spectrum disorders. 'Propsy's objective is to provide solutions for rolling out precision medicine in the field of psychiatry.
